About Diagnosis and Treatment
Yes, and we encourage it. As part of our inaugural offer, second opinions are currently free. Simply bring your existing reports and our team will provide a fresh, independent assessment.
A multidisciplinary tumour board (MDT) is a meeting of multiple specialists including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists who collectively review complex cancer cases to arrive at the best treatment plan. We practice this at Precision Cancer Clinics regularly.
Every treatment plan is designed based on the specific cancer type, stage, molecular profile, overall health, and personal preferences. We do not use a one-size-fits-all approach.
Precision Oncology uses genomic sequencing and molecular testing of the tumour to identify specific mutations and biomarkers. This allows us to select targeted therapies more likely to work for that specific cancer.
Surgical Questions
Yes. Our surgical team includes robotic surgery specialists trained in minimally invasive oncological procedures. Robotic surgery offers faster recovery, less blood loss, smaller incisions, and reduced post-operative pain compared to open surgery.
Robotic surgery is used for colorectal, urological (prostate, kidney, bladder), gynaecological, and some thoracic cancers. Our surgeons will advise whether robotic surgery is appropriate for your specific case.
In some cancers, particularly breast cancer and head and neck cancer, reconstructive surgery is part of the treatment plan. We have a dedicated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon (M.Ch Plastic Surgery, AIIMS) on our team.
Insurance and Costs
Yes. We work with multiple insurance providers. Please bring your insurance card to your first appointment and we will help you understand your coverage options for consultation and treatment.
